Air transportation
Copa Airlines, Official Airline of the Congress, grants a 10% discount of airfares for participants plus one companion. To get this discount, those interested must acquire their tickets at Copa offices in their city of origin.

Weather
The Republic of Panama has a tropical, damp weather, with occasional rainfalls. Temperature is relatively high and there is little variation throughout the year. It is particularly rainy during October.

Clothing
Climate in Panama is warm and rainy. We suggest you to wear light clothes . Standard dress code in a business environment is formal. Women should wear suits or dress pants and men jacket.

Language
The official language is Spanish. However, most of the population is proficient in English.

Currency
The legal tender in the country is the U.S. dollar and the Panamanian Balboa , which exchanges at parity.

Shops
They are usually open Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Some of the shops are open on Sundays.
